About Us

As a “Room Mom” over the years, one of Allie Brenner’s favorite tasks was to procure gifts for her daughter’s teachers. Every year, the PTO would compile a list of “Teacher Favorites” in September and then email them to the Room Moms to use throughout the year. She thought that scaling this for the world in the form of a website would benefit teachers and parents greatly. Teachers can be invited to this website to fill out a list of their favorite things.

Allie received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics summa cum laude from Loyola University in Maryland and was voted by her professors as an Emerging Women’s Leader. She was a Division 1 Cheerleading Captain and NFL Cheerleader. Before settling on Economics, Allie actually wanted to be a teacher. Now she’s proudly “just a mom” after ten years in the financial services consulting world and seven in the beauty industry.

Allie hopes all parents and students invite their teachers to list their favorite things on the My Room Mom website.
